I'm a French man living in France so I don't have too much problem to visit the country.
The thing is that I have never though about include my own country to this website until I got a mail from my friend Michael, an American guy I met in Nelson, New Zealand.
He was coming in France with is girlfriend Liana. She had to come to Nice for her job so he got the opportunity to come with her and spend 2 weeks here.
He had one week free and didn't know exactly what to do. So I told him to come at home (so my parents' home as I didn't have any since my return from Australia) so this way we could visit a few places around together ! That's how all start...
We visited in chronological order: Lyon, Vienne (in South of Lyon), the Chartreuse Valley and its famous monastery, Uzes and the Pont du Gard, Nimes, Arles, Saintes Maries de la Mer et the Calanques of Cassis.
On the way back from Cassis we also had a stop in Aix en Provence for dinner, a city where many beautifull things can be seen... men know what I'm talking about!
We used my wonderful car (an old Opel Astra 1.7 D with 230 000 km on the counter and still alive after this trip) to be independent.
This way we were able to go anywhere anytime.
As french road are excellent we could go easily and quickly from a sight seeing to an other.
Note that I will try to complete this part of the website by adding some more pictures as the list of places to see is just huge.
Thanks to Michael who allowed me to use some of his pictures.
